Richie Rich started as a comic book character from the town of Richville. (After nearly sixty years, he’ll undergo a transformation and will now be a globe-trotting philanthropist). What he won’t be is what his name promises to the readers of thousands of online ads. Sign here, click there, join now, don’t miss the pre-launch. Hyphenated words aren’t the only source of hype these days. One creative form of it – HYIP – is in a category of its own. Feel free to dig deeper into this one, but proceed at your own risk.

We’d all like to make money online. Despite the rash of evidence to the contrary, few of us want to lose money, regardless of the venue. And few of us can afford to lose the money that we do have. So “risk-free” ways of earning an income have a definite appeal. But a word of caution, even if something is “risk-free” in terms of money, it can still cost you more than you’d like.

You may be intrigued by ads saying that you can make money free. You should consider a) does it really work? And b) how much of your precious time will you need to invest. While you may be able to recoup lost money, you can never recover lost time.

With a fair amount of financial background (banks, mortgages, real estate, securities), I have an ongoing curiosity about what really works. So recently I decided to put some spare time into some “risk-free” programs to make money. I invested some spare the time for the sake of research. What I found may interest you.

Advertisers do pay for eyeballs. Anybody watching Google’s share price the past few years would acknowledge this. So the concept of getting paid for those clicks does at least have some credibility. Especially when the sites say “guaranteed pay-outs”, and give a tally of money paid out. (Documentation of authenticity not on file with this station).

These programs offer gigantic bonuses to sign up, and pay from $1 per ad read up to $2,000. Minimum pay-outs are as little as $1,000 and as high as $5,000,000. (Of course, you can greatly reduce the minimum pay-out by paying for an upgrade, but then you’re really betting that these people will repay your money with some of their own).

I clicked on enough ads over time to rack up well over $20,000 in earnings on two sites that promise to pay out once you reach $20,000. It’s been several weeks since I’ve hit that mark, and neither site has responded to multiple requests for my pay-out. On the big $$ program, they now owe me over $1,000,000. I can keep clicking (and keeping the faith) until I get to $5,000,000 – or I can lower the pay-out amount to as low as $50,000 for an upgrade fee of between $35 and $95. First, I’d have to ask myself it I really believe they’d repay my money with their money – especially when they haven’t even bothered to reply to any of the emails I’ve sent them. I think Dirty Harry had the right quote: “Well, do you feel lucky, punk? Do you?” I have a hunch I’d end up more “punked” than lucky…

So if you value your time, I would strongly advise against investing time (not to mention your hard-earned coin) into a program that promises to make you rich by clicking on ads. A program like ClixSense actually seems to be legitimate, but at a penny an ad, it will take you a long time to earn any money, and you need to decide what your time is worth.

On the other hand, my research did bring me to a program where you really can make money online and make money free. The program doesn’t take much of your valuable time, really does produce real results, and never requires any money out of your pocket. You not only get answers to your questions, you have access to several success coaches to help you along. And it’s all free.

The system leverages money created by visiting advertisers, and converting that over time into a residual income for you. And there are numerous free trainings to help you in this program, as well as other businesses you may be involved in. So in this unique program you can leverage your own time as well as others’ money. That’s a win-win.

W.C.N. is like a club of like-minded people who teach you how to build your own business, and also enable you to build an extra income with them. And here’s a key: they will never ask you to spend a cent to benefit from what they do on your behalf.

It’s a fascinating concept, run by people who truly care about helping you reach your goals. It’s not only free to participate. It’s also free to take a look. When you’re tired of all the coulda-woulda-shouda’s, invest some spare moments and see how you really can make money online free.
